Vacuum Genesis is a quarterly chapbook devoted entirely to speculative poetry. It contains poetry, articles, editorials, essays, letters, and market information. It is a "retro-zine," published and printed in the tradition of the great speculative poetry newsletters and magazines of the past: Star*Line, The Magazine Of Speculative Poetry, Beyond, and Scavenger's Newsletter.
Ultimately, Vacuum Genesis is a community of science fiction poets. It features the works of established writers as well as those up-and-coming. Vacuum Genesis seeks to expand the field for artists who write in this very narrow genre -- a genre of which it could be said that most of the readers are other poets and writers.
